The giveaway is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, within the city of Dallas. This event is held annually to commemorate Dallas Arbor Day, highlighting the importance of urban forestry and tree canopy within the community.

The Branch Out Dallas Tree Giveaway is a program designed to encourage residents to plant trees, contributing to the city’s green initiatives. While specific details regarding the number of trees available or registration procedures for this year’s giveaway were not provided in the announcement, the event has been a recurring fixture for residents looking to enhance their local environment.

Arbor Day observances, such as the one being celebrated by Dallas Water Utilities, typically focus on the ecological and aesthetic benefits of trees.
