HOOFDDORP, NL – September 17, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –

Glaseco B.V. has added PVC entrance door systems to its installation services, providing homeowners and property managers with a low-maintenance, thermally insulated option for front door replacement. The Hoofddorp-based window and door company now supplies and installs PVC entrance doors built on the Ideal 7000 NL profile system manufactured by Aluplast, a configuration developed specifically for the Dutch construction market.

The Ideal 7000 NL entrance door profile features a 120-millimeter installation depth and a five-chamber internal structure. The chambers create isolated air pockets within the frame that slow the transfer of heat between the interior and exterior surfaces. This multi-chamber design achieves a thermal transmittance value (Uw) of 0.76 for a reference door unit measured at 1230 by 1480 millimeters, which falls within the performance range required for energy-efficient residential construction in the Netherlands. The profile accommodates glazing panels up to 52 millimeters thick, allowing triple-glazed units to be fitted for properties where additional thermal or acoustic insulation is required.

Each PVC entrance door installed by Glaseco B.V. includes closed steel reinforcement within the frame as a standard component. The steel inserts are positioned inside the PVC extrusion to provide the structural rigidity needed to support the weight of the door panel, resist wind pressure loads, and maintain dimensional stability across seasonal temperature changes. Two anti-burglar latches are fitted per sash as part of the standard hardware specification, with options for upgraded multi-point locking systems for properties that require additional security measures.

The Ideal 7000 NL profile system offers two welding techniques that affect the visual appearance of the finished door frame. The 45-degree welding method, available in V-super and V-perfect finishes, produces the angled mitre joints traditionally associated with PVC window and door frames. The 90-degree welding method, using HFL technology, produces square butt joints that give the frame the appearance of a wooden construction. The square joint option is frequently selected for properties where the homeowner wants the maintenance characteristics of PVC while matching the visual style of existing wooden door frames elsewhere on the facade.

PVC entrance doors from Glaseco B.V. are available in solid colors and laminated surface finishes. The standard white profile can be replaced with finishes from four categories. Modern Greys includes anthracite grey, jet black matt, quartz grey, and brushed aluminium surfaces. Woodec finishes reproduce the appearance of natural timber species including turner oak, sheffield oak, and walnut through a high-resolution lamination applied directly to the PVC frame. Aludec finishes replicate powder-coated aluminium in anthracite grey, basalt grey, and traffic white. Natural Timber finishes provide oak, douglas, palisander, and birch appearances. The interior and exterior surfaces of each door can be finished independently, allowing a different color or material appearance on each side to match both the facade and the interior design scheme.

PVC entrance doors are manufactured from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride, a rigid polymer compound that does not absorb moisture, does not require painting or staining, and resists corrosion from prolonged exposure to rain, wind, and ultraviolet radiation. The material does not rot, warp, or swell under humidity changes, which makes it suitable for exterior door applications in the Dutch coastal climate where salt air and moisture levels are elevated compared to inland regions. Surface finishes on PVC entrance doors include UV stabilizer compounds that protect against color fading over the lifespan of the door.

Glaseco B.V. handles each entrance door project from on-site consultation through installation and inspection. The process begins with measurement of the existing door opening and assessment of the surrounding wall structure, followed by material and finish selection, manufacturing coordination with the supplier, delivery, professional fitting, hardware installation, sealing, and a final inspection to verify that the door operates correctly and the thermal seal meets specification.

The company serves homeowners, architects, and commercial property managers within a 50-kilometer radius around Amsterdam for both individual entrance door replacements and larger renovation projects.
