New fiber network brings speeds up to 2,500 Mbps to two more Southern Nevada communities
GOODSPRINGS AND JEAN, NV, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Stimulus Broadband, a division of Stimulus Technologies, today announced the start of fiber construction in Goodsprings and Jean, Nevada. The new network will bring speeds up to 2,500 Mbps to 131 addresses across roughly 16 miles of new infrastructure, bridging the digital divide in two communities that have never had access to fiber internet before.
Construction is underway in both communities, with service becoming available in phases as work progresses. Full completion in both areas is expected before the end of 2026. The projects are supported in part by the Nevada State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF).
“The work happening now in Goodsprings and Jean is the result of extensive planning and engineering before construction ever began,” said Dustin Heath, Vice President of Engineering and Construction. “Our crews are now bringing that design to life, building state-of-the-art fiber infrastructure focused on reliability, capacity and the long-term connectivity needs of both communities.”
Stimulus Broadband is headquartered in Henderson, and its parent company, Stimulus Technologies, has served Southern Nevada for more than 25 years. Goodsprings and Jean add to a growing list of rural and underserved communities where the company has stepped in to close longstanding connectivity gaps.
“High-speed internet has been out of reach for people in Goodsprings and Jean for a long time and closing that gap is exactly why we build in communities like these,” said Taylor Singleton, Marketing Director. “We’re excited to become a trusted local provider for the people who call it home.”
