SEEQC, Inc. (“SEEQC” or the “Company”), a chip-based quantum computing company, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Taiwan’s Quantum Industry Technology Promotion Office to expand cooperation and exchange across quantum technology and the emerging global quantum supply chain.

The MOU was signed by SEEQC Chief Technology Officer Dr. Shu-Jen Han during SEMICON Taiwan 2026. The agreement establishes a framework for SEEQC and Taiwan’s quantum ecosystem to explore collaboration across technology development, product development, manufacturing, testing and validation, commercialization and supply-chain development. Under the MOU, the parties may also facilitate connections between SEEQC and relevant Taiwanese companies, research institutions and technology capabilities, supporting technical exchange, commercial collaboration, joint development and other potential areas of cooperation.

“Taiwan has an extraordinary concentration of semiconductor, electronics and manufacturing expertise that can play an important role in the development of a scalable global quantum industry,” said Shu-Jen Han, Chief Technology Officer of SEEQC. “This MOU builds on the ecosystem SEEQC has already established in Taiwan and creates additional pathways to connect our technology and roadmap with the capabilities of Taiwan’s research and industrial community.”

The agreement builds on SEEQC’s broader strategy to combine its U.S.-developed quantum technology with Taiwan’s semiconductor, electronics and advanced manufacturing capabilities. SEEQC has established relationships in Taiwan across room-temperature electronics, superconducting chip manufacturing and advanced CMOS interface development.

The signing follows Dr. Han’s participation in Quantum Taiwan Forum – Full Stack, where he joined representatives from leading international quantum and technology companies, including IBM, Fujitsu, Google, NVIDIA, Xanadu and D-Wave, to present Quantum Computing on a Chip. Dr. Han will also participate in Quantum Computing Hardware: Technology Trends and Industry Opportunities on September 4, where he will discuss SEEQC’s strategy of forming a global alliance with Taiwan-based quantum research and development leaders, including SEEQC’s work to build a broader quantum technology and supply-chain ecosystem in Taiwan.
