ST. LOUIS, Sept. 2, 2026
Fresh off a featured Invest Fest main-stage appearance and the surging demand for his newly released book Healing the Illusion We Call Dis-Ease: The Bible of Health, Yahki Awakened expands a growing wellness movement with a permanent home
ST. LOUIS, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hundreds of supporters, students, wellness advocates and community members from across the country gathered in Florissant, Missouri, for the grand opening of the Yahki Awakened Health & Human Development Center, marking a significant new chapter for one of the most closely followed voices in today’s Black wellness movement.
The opening comes amid growing national momentum for Yahki Awakened. Yahki, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, recently took the Invest Fest main stage as a featured speaker, bringing a message of health ownership to one of the country’s largest gatherings centered on entrepreneurship, wealth and economic empowerment. His recently released book, Healing the Illusion We Call Dis-Ease: The Bible of Health, has also seen strong demand, with copies selling out at appearances and events.
Together, the book, national speaking appearances and new development center represent the expansion of a movement Yahki has built through years of wellness education, lectures and digital content reaching millions.
At the heart of his message is a provocative question increasingly resonating with his audience: What does generational wealth mean without generational health?
At a time when Black communities continue to experience disproportionate rates of chronic illness and persistent health disparities, Yahki has emerged as a disruptive voice encouraging people to ask deeper questions about nutrition, lifestyle, herbal traditions, the human body and their role in their own well-being.
The newly opened center includes classrooms, herbal laboratories, educational spaces, podcast studios, wellness technologies and an auditorium designed to support lectures, education, conversations and community programming.
The grand opening launched a three-day celebration beginning with the August 14 ribbon-cutting ceremony and facility tours, followed by a Human Health & Human Development Lecture on August 15 and a Guided Sound Meditation Experience on August 16.
For Yahki, the center transforms a rapidly growing digital community into something tangible: a permanent destination for education, wellness and human development.
The turnout also reflects a larger cultural shift as more Americans seek greater agency in conversations surrounding food, health, prevention, longevity and quality of life. Within Black communities, where longstanding health disparities remain a critical concern, Yahki’s message has found an especially passionate audience.
His growing visibility-from the Invest Fest main stage to the demand for Healing the Illusion We Call Dis-Ease: The Bible of Health-has positioned him at the center of an expanding conversation about health, knowledge and personal agency.
What began as teachings shared through lectures and digital platforms has grown into a community that travels across the country to hear his messages, purchase his book, follow his wellness protocols and participate in his educational and spiritual experiences.
“Most people build businesses to make a living. I’m building institutions so my people can learn how to LIVE.” – Dr. Yahki Rapha Elohim
Now, his movement has a home.
