ALEXANDRIA, VA, UNITED STATES, August 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ALEXANDRIA, Va., August 12, 2026 – The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) announced that applications are now open for its Milestones to a Cure research grant program, a funding initiative designed to accelerate scientific discoveries that can help pave the way toward durable remission and ultimately a cure for psoriatic disease.

Although advances in treatment have transformed outcomes for many people living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, important scientific questions remain unanswered. Through the Milestones to a Cure initiative, NPF is seeking innovative research projects that identify and address key challenges that must be overcome on the path to curing psoriatic disease.

“Curing psoriatic disease will require bold ideas and new scientific approaches,” said Guy Eakin, Ph.D., chief scientific and medical officer for NPF. “Through Milestones to a Cure, we are investing in the critical steps that remain on the path to a long-awaited cure for psoriatic disease.”

NPF invites investigators from a broad range of disciplines to submit proposals. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Novel approaches to achieving complete remission and preventing relapse
