Leadership transition supports Indigo River Publishing’s continued growth and expanding publishing programs
PENSACOLA, FL, UNITED STATES, August 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Indigo River Publishing announced the promotion of Keira Lopez from Chief of Staff to Chief Operating Officer, effective August 3, 2026.
In their new role, Lopez will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, support cross-departmental planning, and help guide the strategy behind Indigo River’s continued growth. She will work closely with CEO Bobby Dunaway and department leaders to improve collaboration and support the company’s authors, staff, and publishing programs.
“Keira has played a huge role in strengthening our team, improving how we operate, and helping us move forward as a company,” said Dunaway. “This promotion is very well deserved, and I’m excited to see her continue building on that work.”
Since joining Indigo River in 2023, Lopez has contributed to the rapid growth of Indigo River’s author pipeline and its corresponding launches, onboarded countless talented industry leaders to the company’s core team, and even spearheaded the formation of Indigo’s newest nonfiction business imprint, Author Voice Publishing. And as Chief Operating Officer, she will continue that work with an expanded focus on organizational strategy and sustainable growth.
“I’m honored to step into the role of COO at such an exciting time for IRP, a place that I believe truly embodies the very best of publishing,” said Lopez. “Since joining the team, I’ve seen firsthand that our growth is driven by highlighting and listening to extraordinary people— from our authors with meaningful stories to tell to the talented team that brings those stories to life every day. I’m grateful to continue leading alongside our Partners as we create even greater opportunities for all we serve.”
