ANAHEIM, CA, UNITED STATES, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Stanton University students recently had the opportunity to strengthen their communication skills and build greater confidence during a Public Speaking Seminar hosted by the ISM Student Club on August 10, 2026.
Designed to help students become more confident and effective communicators, the seminar focused on practical public speaking techniques that can be applied in both academic and professional settings. Students explored key elements of effective communication, including voice projection, eye contact, body posture, overall speaking techniques, and confidence.
The session was led by Mr. Daniel Kim, Librarian and Director of Student Affairs at Stanton University, who shared practical insights and guidance to help students improve their public speaking abilities. Through the seminar, students learned how effective communication goes beyond simply delivering information—it also involves engaging an audience, presenting ideas clearly, and communicating with confidence.
Building Skills for Academic and Career Success
Strong communication skills are essential for students regardless of their academic major. Whether participating in classroom discussions, delivering presentations, interviewing for internships and jobs, or communicating in the workplace, the ability to speak clearly and confidently can make a meaningful difference.
The seminar provided students with useful techniques for becoming more aware of their voice, posture, eye contact, and overall presence when speaking in front of others. By practicing these skills, students can develop greater confidence and become more effective communicators.
Stanton University extends its appreciation to Mr. Daniel Kim for sharing his expertise and to the ISM Student Club for organizing this valuable learning opportunity for the university community.
The seminar reflects Stanton University’s commitment to providing students with opportunities to develop not only academically, but also personally and professionally.
